TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE & MORE

Napa RCD provides locally-based, site-specific, and timely technical assistance to fire-impacted landowners and managers through site visits and connections to financial assistance, including USDA NRCS and Farm Services Agency programs.

We provide:

  • Technical Assistance – Site visits and advice on best practices moving forward to ensure healthy soil, healthy vegetation, and erosion control.
  • Financial Assistance – Connection to USDA relief program that help replace crops, livestock, forage, or farm infrastructure (e.g. irrigation systems, fences, etc.)

Visit our Wildfire Preparedness page for more resources Napa County residents can use after their lands are impacted by fire. This page also includes helpful tips to be prepared for fire in the future.
