Intern with Napa RCD
Learn, Grow, and Make a Difference
At Napa RCD, our internships give students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience while contributing to projects that protect Napa County’s natural resources and strengthen our communities. Whether you’re exploring a future career or simply passionate about the environment, you’ll build valuable skills while making a real impact. Napa RCD encourages all students who are curious about careers and studies related to watershed, forest health, sustainable agriculture, and community engagement to apply.
Our Teen Conservation Internship is designed for high school students who are ready to roll up their sleeves, explore careers in conservation, and help lead environmental projects that make a meaningful difference right here in Napa County.
During the program, students gain hands-on experience both in the office and out in the field, working alongside Napa RCD staff to support watershed restoration, forest health, habitat conservation, and community outreach.
Along the way they build confidence, strengthen professional skills, and discover how their passion for the environment can create lasting change. Their curiosity, dedication, and fresh ideas make a meaningful impact on our work- and help shape the future of conservation in Napa County.
What You’ll Gain:
🌱 Real-World Experience – Work on projects that protect Napa County’s soil, water, forests, wildlife, and watersheds.
🤝 Mentorship – Learn alongside scientists, educators, and conservation professionals who are passionate about sharing their knowledge.
🛠️ Career Skills – Develop leadership, communication, teamwork, and technical skills that will serve you in any career path.
