Irrigation
The Napa RCD is currently offering to conduct irrigation assessments for vineyards focused on measuring uniformity of irrigation water applied throughout the vineyard.
Soil Health
On a fee-for-service basis, RCD is now offering Soil Health Assessments to Napa grape growers to evaluate chemical, biological, and physical soil properties.
Habitat Projects
Napa RCD supports farmers and ranchers in adding habitat to their properties. We work directly with farmers and ranchers to understand their goals, develop practical plans, and secure funding for implementation.
Carbon Farming
Napa RCD is working with farmers to develop Carbon Farm Plans that identify practices that allow agricultural operations to increase carbon sequestration, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and quantify climate benefits of implementing practices at the farm scale.
LandSmart
LandSmart is a regional collaborative program that helps land managers meet their natural resource management goals while supporting productive lands and thriving streams.
