General Info

In order to better understand streamflow at specific sites Napa County Flood Control and Water Conservation District engages in extensive stream monitoring to measure how much water is flowing at any given time and specifically to operate a flood warning system. RCD aids in this effort by regularly calibrating and maintaining systems and by providing measurements at several stations on Napa River tributary creeks. Streamflow information is available to the public online at napa.onerain.com. The data can be used in practical studies related to floods, developments, and fish passage design.
