Position Summary and Description
The Coordinator, Community Engagement supports Napa RCD’s public engagement, communications, and marketing across all program areas (Watershed Health, Forest Health, Regenerative Agriculture, and Community & Youth Engagement). Reporting to the Senior Project Manager (Volunteers), and working under the day-to-day direction of assigned Program staff, this role is responsible for executing defined outreach activities and day-to-day communications needs such as social media and digital marketing, event logistics, and community engagement support – within frameworks established by assigned Program staff. Because the role also supports organization-wide priorities related to marketing, staff trainings and events, and donor engagement, the Coordinator also works closely with Program Directors and the Executive Director. This position offers hands-on opportunities to develop skills in conservation communications, community engagement, project coordination, and project management, while working across Napa RCD’s diverse programs.
