Ridge Trail Day with City of American Canyon

Join Napa RCD and our friends at City of American Canyon to celebrate Ridge Trail Day!

The City of American Canyon is hosting two volunteer events for Ridge Trail Day. Please register in advance, as space is limited.

Blackberry Removal with Napa RCD- REGISTER HERE
We will be working near the start of the main trail at Newell to remove Himalayan blackberry and free Newell Creek for native plants and animals to use. Please wear sturdy pants, long sleeves, sturdy shoes, and bring leather gloves if you have them. Gloves will be available if you don’t have any to bring. All tools will be provided. Trail Work at Newell Open Space- REGISTER HERE
This project will consist of adding composite gravel to the upper portion of the Newell Trail. All tools will be provided. Lunch is provided. With questions, please contact the City of American Canyon Parks & Recreation at 707-648-7275.
