Arbor Day Tree Planting in St Helena

Join Napa RCD, City of St Helena, Sustainable St Helena, and your fellow community members in our efforts to establish a redwood community forest in St Helena!

To celebrate Arbor Day (which is on Friday, April 28) we’d like to invite you to the site of the future Napa Valley Community Forest on Zinfandel Ln in St Helena to plant redwood seedlings. Volunteers will be placing starts in pre-dug holes, and covering the holes back up to make sure the seedlings are secure.

Meet: meet at 30 Zinfandel Ln. Look for the signs and follow directions for parking.
Wear: please wear long pants and sturdy shoes, and any other clothing appropriate for the weather that day. Sun protection will be important. There are areas with tall grasses, so please do a tick check at the end of the day.
Bring: we will have water available, but please be sure to bring your reusable water bottle with you. Please also bring any snacks you may need to make it through the day.
