Applicants sought for Napa County Resource Conservation District
Board of Directors
The Napa County Executive Officer announces one opening on the Napa County Resource Conservation District Board of Directors, with the term of office to commence upon appointment and expire November 27, 2024.
The recruitment will remain open until filled.
The Napa County Resource Conservation District Board has requested that the Napa County Board of Supervisors make this appointment under Public Resources Code sections 9314 and 9316 in lieu of holding an election.
Interested applicants must be registered voters in the State, must reside within the District, must either own real property in the District or act as the designated agent of a resident land owner within the District, or have served for at least two years as an associate director of the District providing advisory or other assistance to the Board of Directors, must not hold an incompatible public agency position during the term of office, and must demonstrate an interest in soil and water conservation.
