MLK Day of Service- Weed Removal

It’s time for MLK Day of Service! Join City of Napa and the Napa County Weed Management Area folks for a French broom invasive plant pull in Westwood Hills Park. Volunteers will learn how to identify French broom, how to remove it, and then will split into groups and get to work. Napa RCD staff will bring all tools necessary.

Bring: work gloves if you have them, sturdy shoes, clothes suitable for gardening, water bottle, and a snack if you need it. There is a LOT of poison oak throughout Westwood Hills. We will do our best to avoid it, but long sleeves and long pants are recommended.
Meet: at the parking lot of Westwood Hills Park. Keep in mind the lot fills quickly and you may need to park on the street.
