This year’s tour features a diverse array of home-grown and professionally designed gardens. Gardens showcase sustainable elements such as:
- Drought-tolerance
- Wildlife habitat
- Heritage oaks
- Chickens, honeybees, or other animals
- Composting
- Orchards, vegetable beds
- Rainwater harvesting through rain barrels and rain gardens
- Greywater systems
- Permeable hardscapes
- Creative re-use of materials
