~ Volunteer to care for new oak plantings ~
May 5 – Acorns To Oaks Volunteer Day w/ Napa County RCD
Volunteers are needed to help check native oak seedlings, pull invasive weeds, and spread mulch around plantings. We will be checking on acorn plantings that were done in Fall 2017.
All ages are welcome. Heavy rain cancels. Dress for gardening – the weeds can be very tall, thick pants, and shoes are highly recommended. Bring a water bottle, everything else will be provided.
RCD will provide gloves and any tools needed. Contact us if you plan on bringing a group of more than 5 people.
When: 9 – 11:30am, Saturday, May 5
Where: Alston Park, 2037 Dry Creek Rd, Napa ~ Hillside above main parking lot
