Habitat Projects

Napa RCD supports farmers and ranchers in adding habitat to their properties. Habitat for monarchs and other pollinators, fish, and wildlife corridors may all be enhanced through a wide range of actions such as planting native plants, removing invasive species, adjusting timing of sprays or water withdrawals, and adapting fencing. We work directly with farmers and ranchers to understand their goals, develop practical plans, and secure funding for implementation.
