Tree of Heaven: Non-Native Species Webinar

Join Napa RCD and learn more about Tree of Heaven in Napa County.

Napa RCD is hosting this webinar to raise awareness about this non-native species that poses significant threats to our well loved landscapes and agricultural efforts. Tree-of-heaven is very successful at establishing around riparian areas, and changes streambed ecology by forming dense thickets that crowd out native plants, alter physical habitat, and produce chemicals that prevent other plants from establishing nearby. Tree-of heaven can also form extensive root systems that damage sewer systems and foundations.

Guest experts Chip Bouril (Natural Resources Conservation Service) and Leif Bryant (Napa County Flood Control District) will be online to discuss:
