Acorns to Oaks 10 Year Celebration

Happy Birthday, Acorns to Oaks!

We’ve been planting oaks at Alston Park for TEN YEARS! Let’s celebrate by doing a little work to help keep them growing.

Volunteers are needed to:
Use their smartphone to map tree locations
Check if trees need new cages, mulch, etc
Weed and mulch trees

Tips for fun and safety:
Dress for gardening, and be prepared to walk through thick grass- thick pants, tall socks, and sturdy shoes
BYO filled water bottle
