First Saturday Volunteer Event- Weed Pull

Join Napa RCD at Westwood Hills Park for the first French broom weed pull of the season! Get back into the swing of things as we continue in our efforts to bring back native plants, decrease fire risk, and build community in a well-loved park!

What to expect: Napa RCD will provide all training and bring all tools including gloves, loppers, and weed wrenches. You will be on uneven terrain for the majority of the work day.

What to wear: Sturdy shoes and clothes appropriate for the weather. We recommend long pants and long sleeves to avoid poison oak exposure.

This is the fourth month of our First Saturday Volunteer Events, and we’re thrilled to be growing this tradition with you! Bring your family, friends, and neighbors for a day of community fun and a chance to make a lasting impact on Napa’s green spaces.
