WATERWAY KEEPERS + COMMUNITY CLEANUPS
Napa RCD hosts a variety of community cleanups throughout the year. Some, like the Waterway Keepers (WWK) cleanups, are smaller and hosted multiple times a year while others are large-scale community-wide cleanups. Join us for an event and help us #KeepNapaClean!
Waterway Keepers (WWK) started through the efforts of Napa Valley CanDo. What began as a few individuals picking up trash in their neighborhood has grown to a full-fledged river cleanup program. Napa RCD coordinates multiple volunteer-led trash cleanups throughout the year along the streets and waterways of Napa County.
The Earth Day Napa Community Cleanup is hosted in April each year in tandem with the Earth Day Napa Festival in Oxbow Commons. This is a multi-site cleanup focused in the City of Napa.
Coastal Cleanup Day (CCD) is an annual event hosted each September by the California Coastal Commission. This is a multi-site cleanup event with sites located all over the County.

How can I get involved?
If you are a part of a group (winery, non-profit, hotel, etc.) and are interested in coordinating a cleanup, please reach out to Ashley. If you are looking to volunteer on your own, check out the opportunities listed on our events calendar!
