Tree Planting at the Napa Golf Course

Saturday, March 7 | Napa Golf Course
8:45am-12pm – please arrive early so we can get started right at 9am
Registration Required

Join Napa RCD and City of Napa Parks and Rec as we plant some trees at the Napa Golf Course!

Please wear sturdy shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a reusable water bottle.

What’s the Plan? We will be partnering with the City of Napa Parks and Recreation for a hands-on urban forestry stewardship event. As part of the City of Napa’s Urban Forestry Management Plan, volunteers will help plant new trees at the Napa Golf Course to expand long-term tree canopy, improve shade and cooling, and support a healthier urban ecosystem.

What to expect: City Parks, trained volunteers, and Napa RCD will provide all training and bring all tools required. Holes will be pre-dug when possible, so volunteers will be helping to put trees in the ground and backfilling the holes to make sure they are sturdy.

What to wear: Sturdy shoes, sun protection, and clothes appropriate for the weather.

Where to meet: the Napa Golf Course (2295 Streblow Dr). Park in the lot and follow signs to the meeting place.

This is a fantastic opportunity for youth, families, and community members to come together and give back to their community.
