Napa River Restoration Day
Join Napa RCD for the third in our series of restoration projects along the Napa River and its floodplain.
We will be working in downtown along the oxbow in the river, removing French broom and other invasive species from the shoreline. Most of it will be hand pulling, and Napa RCD will provide tools for any stubborn larger plants.
Meet: at the City of Napa Parking Lot located at 750 3rd St. We will walk to the river as a group from there.
Bring: water bottle and a snack if you need it, and a pair of gardening gloves if you have them. Don’t have gardening gloves? That’s okay, we’ll have some to share!
Wear: sturdy shoes- we will be on an incline for at least part of the day, pants and layered shirts appropriate for the weather.
