Climate-Friendly Garden Tour- Napa & Yountville

Tour 11 private and public gardens in and around Napa & Yountville! Gardens will showcase beautiful and vibrant landscapes that are climate-friendly and water-wise.

•$5 for Adults/Free for Kids
•Mini-workshops will be held at select sites throughout the day.
•Mulch & compost giveaway at Las Flores Community Center- bring your own bucket!


How it works:

1- Tickets are $5 per adult, and free for children. You can purchase tickets online in advance OR the day of the tour at Las Flores Community Center.
2- If you purchase tickets BEFORE May 8, you will receive your Garden Tour brochure, with map and garden descriptions, in the mail. If you purchase tickets ON or AFTER May 8, you can pick up your Garden Tour brochure at Las Flores Community Center starting at 10am on Saturday, May 13.
3- On May 13, you can visit any of the gardens, in any order, at any time! It’s a choose-your-own-adventure kind of day, and all gardens will be open to ticket holders from 10am-4pm. You will be able to tour the gardens, talk with the owners of the gardens, and see some great examples of climate-friendly and water-wise gardens!

What does Climate-Friendly Gardening really mean? To us, it is a philosophy of gardening (both home and commercial) that showcases beautiful, climate-smart, and water-wise features. This could include an number of things included in the list below, and many more!

•drought-tolerant and native plants
•compost and soil health practices
•rain gardens, rain barrels, and/or other rain catchment systems
•recycled material use
•a smart irrigation system
•veggie gardens
•greywater use

The 2023 Climate-Smart Garden Tour is offered in partnership between the City of Napa Water Division, Napa RCD, UC Master Gardeners, the Napa County Seed Library, and the Town of Yountville.
