DESCRIPTION:Join us and our partners at the American Canyon Community and Parks Foundation (ACCPF) for a hands‑on volunteer day to help protect the health of our local ecosystems! Invasive plants crowd out native species, reduce wildlife habitat, and threaten the resilience of our watershed.\nAll training and tools – including gloves, shovels, spades, etc – provided by American Canyon Community & Parks Foundation and Napa RCD.\nWhat to Wear: Long sleeve shirts and pants are recommended, even if warm. Please bring sun protection!\nWhat to Bring: Bring your filled water bottle, a snack if you think you’ll need it, and a can-do attitude!\nWhat to Expect: We will walk Wetlands Edge Trail out to the removal site and get to work pulling and digging out invasive artichoke thistle. Expect to be on uneven, sloped ground.\nWhere to Meet: At the Trailhead Kiosk\nPlease Register Here with ACCPF\n
