DESCRIPTION:October First Saturday Project:  Tree Planting with City of Napa Parks and Rec!\nREGISTER HERE!\n\nGrab your gloves and green thumbs and join us, along with City of Napa Parks and Rec, for a special Arbor Day celebration at Kennedy Park!  We’ll be planting trees together, building a stronger, greener Napa, and having some fun while we’re at it!\nWhether you’re an expert tree planter or just looking for a great way to give back, we need your help! We’ll be moving and prepping small trees, filling in soil to keep them sturdy, and adding mulch to protect our new leafy friends. Plus, you’ll get the scoop from the City of Napa Parks staff about their recent tree survey and exciting updates from the Urban Forestry Master Plan!\nWhat to Expect:\n\nHands-on tree planting activities\nAn update on the City’s Urban Forestry Management Plan\nA friendly, feel-good way to connect with your community\nAll ages welcome—no experience necessary!\n\nMeet: at the Mulberry Picnic Site in Kennedy Park. Kennedy Park is located at 2295 Streblow Dr. Follow the road until you reach a wide turn going to the left (south). Then take the second driveway on your right side. Look for the signs.
