WILD Napa ~ Local Mushrooms ~ April 12

Get to know Napa County’s wild creatures with our monthly lecture series~

Exploring Local Mushrooms with George Riner, Mycologist

Fungi are their own kingdom and they are everywhere, even when you don’t see them! They help things grow and they help things decay. They come large and small, brightly colored or quite subdued. Some we love to eat and some will kill us if we did – and some have even been known to heal us too! Join local Mycologist, George Riner as he shares real fungi in hand and explains how there’s more to mushrooms than what’s for dinner.

**We invite you to bring your own mushrooms for ID and discussion**
