Eric McKee has joined the RCD staff as Education Program Manager. Eric coordinates LandSmart for Kids programs such as Acorns To Oaks, Youth Stewards, and the Clean Water Initiative, working with students of all ages to encourage an appreciation of our watersheds.
Originally from New England, Eric has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Forestry and Natural Resource Management from the SUNY–College of Environmental Science & Forestry in Syracuse, New York. He has extensive natural and environmental science education experience having completed programs with the National Outdoor Leadership School and AmeriCorps, and has served organizations and agencies in southern California, Lake Tahoe, and the San Francisco Bay region. Eric holds certifications as a Leave No Trace Master Educator, Certified Interpretive Guide, Project WET Facilitator, and in Project Learning Tree and WILD.
